Paul Devereux is a writer and painter. One of his latest books is The Sacred Place: The Ancient Origin of Holy and Mystical Sites (Cassell, 2000). He is currently engaged in a project with the Royal College of Art involving the audio-visual mapping of an iconic prehistoric landscape.
