Gaia’s Café forum
Where the Resurgence on-line community meets to discuss emerging ideas, campaigns and concerns, and to comment on the magazine and website.
Following requests from members of the Gaia’s Café email discussion list, we have moved the discussion to a full on-line forum, with a great number of enhanced features, including:
- easy posting of topics and replies, with an editing facility
- send and receive private messages or email other members
- receive email notification of new replies to a topic
- simple search of discussions by keyword or author
How to join
You can view the discussions as a guest, but to be able to fully take part you must register (link towards the top right of the forum page). There is a user agreement to abide by. You must click that you accept this if you want to use the forum.
You then need to invent a ‘username’ – this will provide a degree of anonymity should you wish, and a password of your choice.
When you have finished entering your details an email will sent to the address you specified. You must respond to this email to complete your registration. This is to prevent anyone registering you without your permission.
You can set the Forum to log you on automatically each time you visit if you desire.
Please use this forum thoughtfully.
We encourage all registered members to take part in the discussions, but please abide by the agreement that you accepted when you registered.
Registration agreement
- Remember you are communicating with other people, and they need an opportunity to interact with you. Diatribes are non-PC, discussions are de rigeur.
- Any individual posting which occupies more than one screenful will be regarded as a diatribe and is likely to be truncated or deleted.
- If your argument requires more space, please place it on your own website or blog, and post a link to it in the forum.
- Abusive or invective language will not be tolerated, and will result in banning.
