THE HOUSE OF LORDS needs sorting. Any minute the editors will be on to me, demanding the Didymus solution that will bring further credit to the magazine. I may as well get down to it right away.

We are faced here with a mess that calls for what we of Irish extraction term an ‘I wouldn’t start from here for a start’ roadmap. The House of Lords is, as we all know, tagged onto The House of Commons. Has anyone suggested reforming that? You see what I mean.
