The Resurgence Trust
Resurgence has always been more than a magazine. For the past 40 years we have not only published Resurgence but also organised a series of events that promote our vision for a more ecological and equitable world. The Resurgence website, which already receives nearly a million visitors a year, has encouraged and furthered debate on key environmental and social issues across the globe. We’ve managed to do all this on an entirely not-for-profit basis.
In recognition of this achievement we have now been granted charitable status. Resurgence is now, formally, an educational trust. This means that we will be able to, more proactively, become ‘more than just a magazine’. We aim to bring together a community of people and organisations who believe that another world is possible, a world that embraces culture, aesthetics, sustainability and spirituality. Our aim is to help create a world based on justice, equality and respect for all beings.
But we can’t do this on our own. So, we have established a board of Trustees that will help us steer Resurgence towards our vision of a wider global community:

In March this year we will be launching a new membership scheme and inviting our supporters to become members. This will give you the opportunity to help us shape and contribute to the work of Resurgence. Keep a look-out in Resurgence magazine for details of the new membership scheme.
As we develop our vision to embrace a wider community with the fundamental message Resurgence magazine has championed for the last forty years, we are filled with hope and passion that together with our writers, artists, photographers and our supporters, we can really make the world a better place.
