I’M FLATTERED THAT you found my commencement address to Duke University students worthy of passing on to your readers (Resurgence 252). However, your reprint contained two errors that can only be put down to cultural misunderstanding. My original mention of “the rules of tenting” (not camping) was an insider reference to a particular ritual at that college for getting into basketball games.
