RESTORING JUSTICE
The cure for our current monetary malaise (The Money Revolution – Oliver Tickell, Resurgence & Ecologist 278) depends on the restoration of an ethical basis in the relationship of humanity to land. No-one can truly own land as a personal possession with no obligations to anyone or anything else. Land ownership is a trust and the duties are to care for the land, leaving it in as good or better condition, and to recompense surrounding communities for the benefit that private ownership confers on the owner and therefore removes from others.
