“Absorbing”. “Uplifting”. “It’s given me ideas and inspiration.” Judging from some of the audience comments, the recent Resurgence Festival of Wellbeing lived up to the expectations of those who attended.

Behind the scenes, the event was also a triumph of last-minute reorganisation. Just a few weeks before the Festival, event organiser Peter Lang had a telephone call from London’s Bishopsgate Institute, with alarming news: part of the ceiling had fallen in the hall where our event was to be held.
