Resistance is growing over the rollout of 5G, with local groups springing up concerned about health dangers and lack of public consultation. Citizen groups against 5G stretch from Orkney to the West Country to Waterford near Dublin. Ayse Leflef from Waterford said: “We raise awareness about this – about 40 people were on our last protest. All the different active groups around Ireland protest on the last Saturday of every month.”
