Waking up time is between 6.30 and 7am, when I rise from my Auping bed with its Yumeko sheets and duvet and walk downstairs in my AllBirds woollen shoes, which are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

I start with a delicious cup of Illy coffee made with an Alessi coffee maker, sometimes with a dash of Alpro Barista oat milk or Danone yoghurt, and I follow that with a thorough read of The Guardian online. Then I switch on my Fairphone to read the headlines on Spark News. I usually follow this with a shower using Weleda shower gel and Davines shaving foam and after-shave. My body lotion is by Natural is Better, and my lip balm by The Body Shop. I use toilet paper made by The Good Roll, and toothpaste by Tom’s of Maine.

I breakfast on Holie granola, followed by a cup of Pukka tea. I tend to wear Mr Marvis trousers or Mud Jeans, and shoes by Veja. I put on a Patagonia jacket and reading glasses by Izipizi as I switch on my Guzzini desk lamp and go through the papers in my Bellroy briefcase. Around mid-morning, I have a Moyee coffee with a Farm Brothers cookie.

For lunch, I often have eggs on toast by Kipster with greens by Bonduelle and olive oil by Fratelli Carli or a plant-based alternative by Bonneterre and an Innocent smoothie, ending with a bite of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate and a Nespresso. My kitchen utensils come from Dille & Kamille.

Throughout the day, I bank with Triodos, wash my hands with Seepje and drink water from my Dopper water bottle. I sometimes upload files to colleagues using WeTransfer and eat pieces of Pacari chocolate. I clean my desk and computer with spray by Delphis Eco, check the web using Ecosia and occasionally visit Change.org or Apolitical. I look for study opportunities on Coursera and check Goodwings for hotel deals, Kickstarter for cool projects to support or learn from, and Lemonade for insurance products. I get my financial news from Lombard Odier.

At work, I often connect with regular business partners such as Netguru in Poland, Misteli in the Netherlands, Pixelis in France, Nativa in Italy, Innate Motion in Belgium, Utopies in France, Resilience Institute in Switzerland, and Pymwymic in the Netherlands, occasionally working from the Impact Hub. We use Alfa Accountants, tech partner Genashtim in Singapore, Rainbow Collection, Quadpack in Spain, marketing specialist Havas Lemz, Systemiq in the UK, NOW Partners, Been Management Consulting, Reos Partners, Blisce, Vebego, our lawyers BVDV, and Derksen & Drolsbach.

For dinner, my wife and I sometimes have a free-range farm chicken supplied by Fileni, or gourmet frozen food from the UK company COOK. We might open a bottle of Château Maris, and often end the meal with a spoonful of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and a drop of Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur. If we walk afterwards, we might go out wearing rain jackets by Cortazu.

After dinner, I might watch a documentary by Participant Media, drink a small glass of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne and follow it with a cup of Aboca herbal tea. I often end the day by reading a book bought through Bol, or surfing the internet. I recently booked an escape holiday through Nature.house and ordered a pair of sunglasses by Ace & Tate and a tube of Naif sun cream.

At night I apply Rituals body cream to my face, and then, in order to doze off I listen to music, occasionally from Playing for Change. Soon I will be spending a few nights in Amsterdam and I have just booked a room at Zoku and hired a bike through Swapfiets.

That’s my day in B Corps. What’s yours?
