Trustees
The following people are trustees of The Resurgence Trust:
James Sainsbury is Chairman of the Trust. He is also Chair of the trustees of Home-Start, a national family support charity, and trustee to a number of charitable organisations, including the Voices Foundation and the National Byway Trust, which promotes cycling. He also has an interest in psychotherapy and is trained as an Option Process mentor. He is married with two sons.
Sandy Brown is a ceramicist who lives in North Devon. She has exhibited internationally and has worked as an Artist in Residence in Australia with the British and the Australian Council. She has been a contributor to Resurgence magazine for many years and writes the regular Craft column.
Rebecca Hossack opened her first art gallery in 1988 and regularly writes and lectures on aboriginal art. Rebecca is also the first Conservative Councillor which Bloomsbury has had for 35 years as well as being a director of the Art and Antique Dealers Association. She lives in central London with her husband, the writer Matthew Sturgis.
Nick Robins is Head of the Climate Change Institute at HSBC. He was formerly Head of Sustainability and Responsible Funds (S.R.I.) at Henderson Global Investors, London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the U.K. Government’s Sustainable Development Panel and an associate editor of Resurgence magazine.
Michael Webber is a former Charity Commissioner and a former chairman and chief executive of a quoted electrical appliance business. Today he acts as an adviser or trustee to numerous charities and companies.
