UK: PICK YOUR OWN LUNCH AT THE BUS STOP

A new initiative in London that has its roots in the direct action of ‘guerrilla gardening’ is working to transform some of the city’s more brutal urban spaces and wastelands into a series of micro-parks and gardens. Called The Edible Bus Stop – because many of these transformed spaces are on the London Bus network – the project is creating growing spaces where commuters can literally pick their lunch on the way to work.
