AUSTRALIA: REEF PLAN WELCOMED

WWF-Australia has given a cautious welcome to the country’s final Reef 2050 plan to conserve the Great Barrier Reef from environmental degradation. But the green group said the A$100 million in new funding announced by the federal government falls short of what’s required to halt the reef’s decline.
