The M25 conspiracy trial at Southwark Crown Court earlier this year was a meeting of the tribes – XR stalwarts, radical anarchists, young animal liberation activists, and Palestine Action – all there to raise hell about the skewed British justice system.

Huda Ammori from Palestine Action stood in solidarity outside the court following the handing down of four- to five-year sentences to Roger Hallam, 58, Daniel Shaw, 38, Louise Lancaster, 58, Lucia Whittaker De Abreu, 35, and Cressida Gethin, 22.
