SOMETHING ABOUT MY long relationship with Resurgence is troubling me. It’s odd: I savour the beautiful images, and relish the deep insights, I feast on Satish’s ‘Welcome’ and Thomas Moore’s ‘Deep Spirit’; yet still there is something about the magazine that irks me.

It embarrasses me to confess this dark shadow over my love for a journal that is “at the heart of Earth, art and spirit”. I am going to voice it, at this time of the 250th issue, in the spirit of honest feedback, and as a critical friend. I’ve double subscribed for the last sixty issues ...
