A QUESTION OF GRAIN

As ever I was very pleased to safely receive Issue 327 of Resurgence & Ecologist here in the foothills of the Himalaya. I enjoyed Vandana K’s article, Roots and Fruits, very much, highlighting the praiseworthy activities of Umang. The centre of their activities in Naini is only some 25 miles from here, but their women’s Self-Help Groups are spread over much of Almora district and one of their knitting groups is here in Kausani.
