Sophie Strand: Lately I’ve been saying that I’m a writer at the intersection of storytelling, ecology and myth or animism – but it’s more accurate to call me a lover. Lover as related to the word ‘amateur’. Never an expert, always following foolishly and naively. My passion is like a bee following its desire into a flower and incidentally pollinating other plants.
