HALF A MILLION OPT FOR VEGAN DIET, POLL FINDS

More than half a million people in Britain are now vegan in their diet – an increase of more than 350% in 10 years – according to a survey commissioned by The Vegan Society and Vegan Life magazine. The Ipsos MORI survey, of more than 10,000 Britons aged over 15, estimates that at least 542,000 people now avoid any animal products, including meat, fish, milk, cheese, eggs and honey.
