New Channels for New Ideas
Call for volunteer organisers of Viewers Parties - the fun option for the enquiring mind.
Are you or your group interested in the ideas that will provide a template for the 21st Century? Are you part of a church, environmental, campaign, community or academic group that wants to be challenged?
- Help us transform the way ideas are spread, discussed and adopted
- Give friends and colleagues the chance to hear inspirational speakers of the highest quality
- Provide your group, association, or church with material to discuss for months
- Discover new ways to provide your groups with stimulating and exciting speakers and ideas
What will change the way we live, the way we work, the way we feel? The Festival of Wellbeing is the UK's biggest and most challenging showcase of new ideas for the 21st Century. Streamed live from the Bishopsgate Institute, London on Saturday 12 October. More ideas in one day than all the political conferences put together.
The speakers include: Rowan Williams, Tony Juniper, Lynne Franks, Juliet Davenport, Ben Okri, Alys Fowler, Tamsin Omond, Ruth Padel, Edward Skidelsky, Vandana Shiva, Richard Wilkinson, Thodore Zeldin and Satish Kumar.
Viewers' Parties
We are looking for volunteers to organise Viewers Parties for this event around the UK for people who want to engage with new ideas but can't be in London on 12th October.
It can be in a community centre, church centre, a readers home, a school, a pub - anywhere you can get a screen and a decent internet signal from broadband or wifi.
The Resurgence & Ecologist Festival of Wellbeing on Saturday 12th October 2013 gives you the most extraordinary combination of economists, environmentalists, business leaders, spiritual leaders, philosophers, artists, thinkers of all kinds.
All you need is a laptop, a projector, an internet connection - probably the help of an intelligent 14 year old.
And you can take part because the whole event is being broadcast live on the web. The event can be viewed on most internet TVs, mobiles, laptops, iPads, tablets or internet enabled devices. And it's easy to check that the video will work on your equipment – just look at last year's Festival of Wellbeing:
