Evocations of Nature

The American artist Amy Genser says she 'plays with paper and paint' to explore her obsession with texture, patterns and colour - and her fascination with the natural world. Whether it is the flow of water, the shape of beehives or Nature's organic irregularity, she evokes natural forms and processes - from flowers to rock formations, barnacles to seaweed - using painted paper that is cut, rolled and layered. An exhibition of Amy's work will be on display at The Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA from 31 Jan to 13 Mar 2019, or you can view more of her artwork at www.amygenser.com
