Readers of Resurgence may be surprised to find an article on environmental leadership written by a Church of England minister. This is double whammy territory. Surely Christianity is responsible both for an anthropocentric understanding of human domination that has wrought havoc on the planet, and for a hierarchical, authoritarian model of leadership?
