With regard to your recent issue Animals: A New Ethics (Issue 271). What a disappointment. After years of subscribing to Resurgence and anticipating thought-provoking and inspiring reading, I find that the critically important subject of animal welfare is dealt with by a vegan editor eager to focus solely on what is currently unacceptable in animal management and promoting the removal of farm animals altogether.
