How did you first hear about Resurgence and when?

I very first encountered Resurgence magazine in the mid-90s through a radical bookstore called Word Power in Edinburgh. I was doing an MA at the university there, and found that the magazine was speaking to an embryonic part of me that wasn’t being nurtured by my academic studies.

What is it about Resurgence that you enjoy the most?

As a young woman, I’d grown excited about the concept of a Renaissance education, and felt that I wanted a more generalist approach to understanding and revisioning the world. ...
