WE ALL KNOW that there are better ways to run the world. I am not thinking here of the big picture – world peace, global democracy and all that. I am looking to small things. ‘Kitchen table’ things, to borrow a phrase from I forget which politician (are they all the same these days?). Things lacking in controversy, that sensible, reasonable people can hopefully agree on. Put together, consider them my short manifesto for a (slightly) better world.
