What we do to soil, we do to ourselves.

This fundamental ecological truth is forgotten in the dominant paradigm, because industrial agriculture is based on eco-apartheid, the false idea that we are separate and independent of the Earth, and also because the dominant paradigm effectively defines soil as dead matter.
