MY NEW BOOK is about what I see as an imminent global energy crisis of unparalleled awfulness. Its twin themes - oil depletion and global warming - I cast as the two great oversights of our times, and factors that will dominate the years ahead.

In writing it, I have drawn on experience gained in all three phases of my vocational life.
