In March 2012, I attended a one-day conference in my local town of Aberystwyth in Wales, on the health benefits of spending time out in Nature. The community hall was packed and there were representatives from numerous local organisations working in the field.

Of all the speakers who contributed that day, one man still remains keenly in my mind. He stood alone at the microphone, and spoke softly.
