Your recent issue of Resurgence & Ecologist (No. 306) is outstanding, but it wrongly attributes a quotation to the broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.
Sir David’s broadcasts and writings are wonderfully inspiring, leading us to deeper understanding, wonder and love of the natural world. However, the quotation “Anyone who thinks you can have infinite growth in a finite environment is either a madman or an economist” originates from Kenneth Boulding, during a hearing in the US Congress more than 40 years ago.
