We have been running Peaceful Schools programmes in Mid Wales primary schools since 2014. We teach basic conflict resolution so that children can learn the skills and strategies they need to handle their own anger, deal with the anger directed at them, cope with their anxieties, and learn to work cooperatively. It is about extending their empathy and starting, most importantly, with themselves.
