NEPAL LIBRARY UPDATED

We are pleased to say that previous articles run by Resurgence & Ecologist regarding Books4Nepal (a project to build the first children’s public library in the remote mountainous region of Rasuwa in Nepal) helped the project both to secure the necessary funding and to find volunteer librarians to support the project. The library opened in February 2020 and a local woman was hired as trainee librarian and is doing an amazing job despite the obvious problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
