The Weather Bomb

According to meteorological broadcasts, we are experiencing ‘explosive cyclogenesis’, more terrifyingly known as a ‘weather bomb’. The barometric pressure in the depression rotating over us is dropping at a rapid rate. It seems symbolic of the situation humanity finds itself in at this moment in history. But as I walk through the park, is Nature around me aware of this apocalyptic event? The moorhen battles determinedly against the tempestuous waves on the lake, but relents, changes direction and goes with the flow. Perhaps a lesson that sometimes it is best ...
