How very pleasing it was that you featured both technical, renewable energy, and human action, energy in your issue on Positive Energy (November/December 2022). Much is written about our need for urgent investment in renewable energy to move us away from fossil fuels, but less attention is given to the fact that positive human energy, especially hope, is essential if we are to avoid catastrophic global heating.
With a worldwide epidemic of mental illness and an ever-increasing number of people suffering ‘eco anxiety’ it seems we need a very big push indeed ...
